Things You May Want to Know About Me
I'm a smart woman of a certain age, a contrarian, a critical thinker, who loves business more than almost anything. My favorite books (nonfiction) to read are about money, business practices, and marketing. Why? It's what I'm most passionate about, and so I can serve my clients better so they are extraordinarily successful... if they heed my advice, that is.
I'm left-brained and right-brained, so I'm both logical and creative. You'll see how that will benefit you. I'm also somewhat of a matchmaker, not in the dating sense, but I introduce people to each other whose work is mutually benefiting.
I'm collaborative, not adversarial. I look for ways to allow everyone to win. That may be the result of living in Canada for the better part of 30 years.
I've been the target of nasty, untrue rumors, some swindlers, and some criminals; perhaps you have, too. While I'm self-protective, I'm also fiercely protective of your safety and privacy, too. Tell me if you are being targeted unfairly, so I can support you with stopping it.
I'm not a blonde, but a feisty redhead whose hair has gone grey (looks golden). I'm actually 21% Asian and I like to say I'm 79% Viking.
I'm not a corporate type, so don't expect me to appear in high heels, suits, or dresses. I think better (on your behalf) when I'm comfortable. You're more likely to find me in jeans, turtlenecks, and running shoes. Possibly with a little cat hair that escaped the lint brush. But I can also wear a skirt as you can see in the photo of Jack Canfield (co-creator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books) and me.
I don't drive a fancy car. My vehicles are big. I used to drive a red, 2002 Ford E-250 (cargo van) that barely passed 50,000 miles. It had a ladder rack on top. It was ugly and unfeminine, but it was never stolen or car-jacked, and strange men thought it must belong to a man so they left me alone. It kept me safe.
My current vehicle is a blue, 2004 Ford E-350 (camping van) that has just passed 20,000 miles. I use it to drive to see clients (within 500 miles), so I can come to see you, park in your driveway or parking lot, and not impose on you (much). Connecting to your electricity and WiFi would be very useful.
I bought and renovated a little two-bedroom bungalow that was blighted, for $99. I sold that bungalow to move to Florida. Now I live in a small condo on the edge of an unused golf course with Spanish Moss-covered trees.
Unlike many Americans, I have no debt. No mortgage, credit card debt, car loans, and I never had student loans.
